sean paul

I recently discovered sean pual and I really like the style of music, the beat and especially the vocal style. I've been having trouble finding similar artist could anybody point me in the right direction?

Well I am going to suggest Damian Marley, not exactly what you are looking for but it is similar in some respects. Damian is also much better then Mr. Paul.

Now for more realistic suggestions.

You might like the Akon album Konvicted. It is relatively new and has a slew of singles out that you probably have heard.

There is a Tanto Metro and Devonte song called Give it to Her. It was popular when Sean Paul got his start and is similar in style.

Try the songs Rompe and Gasolina by Daddy Yankee. It is of the genre Reggaeton. I don't personally like the genre, all of it sounds exactly the same to me but these were popular club tracks last year.

I do believe Sean Paul is similar to Mr. Vegas although I cannot vouch for that personally.

Finally listen to some earlier Sean Paul, you would probably like it even more. I do think you should give Damian Marley an honest try though since he is much more skilled and some of his tracks are just as danceable; but he is not mindless dancehall music like Sean Paul.
