I'm probably going this year...not sure yet. I might be out of the country in which case I won't be able to make it. Sleepytime/Secret was amazing as always. The Secret Chiefs 3 set was almost song for song the same as last time i saw them, with the exception of two new songs added in. It was still great and the new songs are really nice and heavy Sleepytime started with 45 minutes new material and then played some good old tunes. Sleepytime (in my humble opinion) is one of those bands that is way better live than on cd. So all in all a great show.

I think both bands are playing shows in the early summer. I really want to see Secret Chiefs cause I read they are doing the show as 7 different bands which would be amazing.

I kinda feel like I might not like their sound, got to check it out since their reputation precedes them.

If you're down with Sludge/Doom....as in the Melvins (Boris takes their name from one of their songs), Earth, or Sleep.

The second one's original title was Lysol, but they had to change it for legal reasons. Now it just goes by Melvins.

The bass player position like the bass player for Ruins is Spinal Tapish in nature.

Lori Black....who was their second bass player, is Shirley Temple's daughter.

I haven't looked through the whole list, but I'd say definitely go see Slint if you can.

Fennesz & Mike Patton should be interesting together...
