Crappy metal

This is directed at metal in general really, but more at the screamers. by that i mean the heavy metal screamers. I hear these songs and i dont even know what they are saying and even after i look up the lyrics im confused. Anyways, i suppose its supposed to get someone pissed off or pumped or anything, but it doesnt. Its pretty bad. There is a song by dave matthews band called Halloween. Yeah there is some screaming but is different and you can tell. It beats any screamer song ive ever heard. Read the lyrics along with the song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VNUqtsGo6O8

Look, if you don't wanna listen to screamo that's up to you, but pushing Dave Matthews on people is just plain uncalled for.

It is no use paul. The people in this forum(esp. the metal section) are so tone deaf and satanitic that they just won't listen and I doubt if even half of them can read let alone understand lyrics.

wow the first smart response of the day. im not promoting anything, im giving one example of what is better than metal,the worst genre of music ever. I mean what has it to offer and ever done. its a bunch of guitarists who think playing fast means their good and singers that make me over dose on advil.

hey guys please leave some "not nice" comments for me over the night and im sure to get back to you in time. im going off to sleep with the tunes of stevie ray vaughan, dave matthews, pink floyd, yardbirds, bob dylan, bb king, and buddy guy in my head. those artists will make for a peaceful sleep while if i would listen to some good old fashion metal i would probably shit my pants in my sleep(i already do) and fall into a coma.

Sure, we listen to those too. If you read any other posts on this forum, you might have realized that many of us in the metal sub-forum enjoy some of those artists

I'm a fan of Dave Matthews. I've actually attended 6 shows in the last 2 years because a few of my friends are also fans. Did you know that DMB has played metal cover songs? War Pigs and Cryporchild are two off the top of my head.

Since I've found that helping someone appreciate metal is harder than helping someone appreciate most other genres, I won't even bother. But if you ever decide to "give it a try," maybe another Dave Matthews fan that enjoys metal (like me), could recommend something you might like.
