Brothaman, I Just noticed that you didn't put either of your Boyz on there.

Are you no longer the President of the Enduser fan club? And no Michael Keaton?

No love for Basinski and/or Lundvall, either?

Enduser's albums just didn't do it for me this year. The Basinski album was good, but I just didn't find it as enlightening as say 'disintegration loops I' or 'garden of brokenness'. The Lundvall discs were good and I probably just missed that them. 'Empty City' should've definitely been mentioned, while 'Yule' was just a nice album to listen to from time to time.

Brian's (milieu) album 'Beyond the stars lies the sea'/'beyond the sea lies the stars' is an incredible 2 disc release which was accidentally left off, unfortunately, yet he is mentioned as Free Festival. He and Brian Ellis are in that group

Too many decent albums this year, not enough GREAT ones.

I had no idea about this. I really like Brian Ellis' Cosmic Perspective 3" release. I imagine he and Milieu could make some nice stuff together... I'll check this out.

Last year Enduser only made a honorable mention and this year not even mentioned. Is that even allowed under the Enduser Fan Club By-Laws?

You just might want to watch out for a possible Impeachment.

That's if Michael Keaton hasn't put out a hit for forgetting him altogether.

and honestly, i forgot Svarte Greiner's "knive" on Type Records, but my list for igloomagazine has a slight variation. I added Tim Koch's 'Faena' to the top 10, i believe. another great recording on Merck (r.i.p. soon)

each of those lists are great. though, i have to be honest, i needed to look some of those artists up b/c i wasn’t familiar w/ them.

i’m glad that i did too. i have to thank josh, specifically, for turning me on to kangding ray and nathan fake.

i did a list for soundsect. it isn’t all electronic though. (i hope no one minds):

10. Liars – Drum's Not Dead
9. Ruxpin – Elysium
8. Marsen Jules - Les Fleurs
7. Tim Hecker - Harmony in Ultraviolet
6. Sunset Rubdown - Shut Up I Am Dreaming
5. Joanna Newsom – Ys
4. Wilt – Dark Meadows
3. Tom Waits – Orphans: Brawlers, Bawlers & Bastards
2. Matmos – The Rose Has Teeth in the Mouth of a Beast
1. Scott Walker – The Drift

I don't, that Tom Waits set is fucking awesome. I've listened to it more than any other new release this year I'm sure. I've been trying to piece together an electronic 'best of' but I can never remember what came out when earlier in the year.
