Can anyone reccomend some "lyricless" sad depressing music?

Hey, I feel like listneing to some good depressing sad music right now, but I dont know of any depressing music without lyrics. Im not looking for any real popular bands or anything, just anything that has a really sad sound to it...thanks ps- it would be even better if it is kinda weird and trippy as well.

The sound track to Donne Darko will prolly suit your purposes.

A Sliver Mt Zion's first album would work...although there are two songs with vocals (one only has a few lines at the very beginning of a song).

That is indeed a stellar album, and their two next are also nice, then Efrim started to sing a bit too much.

I checked em both out and they werent too bad, but I was looking for something thats also kinda angry like with some screetching electric guitars or something...you know something a little trippy. If you have ever heard "Orange Kay", by Daniel Lanois or "Stimulate", by eminem(without the lyrics), that is something like what I am looking for. thanks again for the replies.

and still instrumental? mmm some Mogwai tracks could fit here, I guess, there first few things are rather harsh, I guess and of the later period tracks like "We're No Here" or "Glasgow Mega-Snake" (both of the last one, Mr. Beast) might do. Fellow Glaswegians balance even more on sad/angry waves, but their songs are generally vocal, unlike Isis, with whom they've just done a split cd, but they are metal, although they're not all that abrassive. Nice long sentence, isn't it!
