Props to iron_symphony...the Russian guys win. I loooooooooooove Stravinsky...Rite of Spring is amazing, as is the Firebird.

It changes with my mood but the principles are always the same... Beethoven and Mozart. To that I would add Stravinsky, Debussy, and I've been on a bit of a Samuel Barber run lately.

Aaron Copland!!! (everything - genious)
Gustav Holst (the planets, english music for strings, chaconne)
Claude Debussy (de lune, love impressionism)
George Gershwin (jazz is born)
Modest Mussorgsky (pictures)
I know I've probably forgotten somebody that should kick Mussorgsky off the list, but I left Bach, Mozart and Ludwig Von off the list because that's just not fair.
