Thumbs up jazz with hiphop

The world of jazz being so big, my tastes so narrow, and my attention span so small creates the need for questions.

Questions that I will ask you

Im looking for some saxaphne led jazz played alongside some turntables. The only example I have of this is the end of the song 'jazz fingers' by busdriver. I'd prefer it to be instrumental.

I know DJ Logic has worked with Medeski, Martin and Wood, but I'm not sure if you're looking for that.

Outkast's version of "My Favorite Things" definately has a Coltrane jazz influence to it (not sure if it has a sax in it... Maybe a sampled one)...

You might want to check out some cuts from Courtney Pine's album 'Modern Day Jazz Stories'(1995). It features D.J. Pogo on the turntables. Not sure if the turntable action is intense enough for what you want, but I like the flavor that it adds to this (sax led) jazz date. Although all the cuts on this recording were done live, in one take to give the music a human edge, Pine is not shy about using electronic elements in the studio.
