Friend Looking For Beats Program

My friend is a freestyle rapper and would like to also make his own beats for his songs but doesn't know what the best program is.

He hasn't used any programs before so I think he would want something with a great balance between quality, functionality, and the concept of being user friendly.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Thanks

A good program for beginners is Fruity Loops. It's very user-friendly when it comes to beat programming.

Try using FlexiMusic Composer, a multi-track program for composing, editing and mixing of music. It is also available for free download, comprehensible software.
