I can listen to Sgt. Pepper's almost any time, while Pet Sounds not so much. It may be better in the "whos this was way before its time" but Sgt. Pepper for me

Pet Sounds over Sgt. Pepper for me, I've found that Pepper kinda pales in comparison to other Beatles albums. For me it's always been one or two great songs sprinkled among a bunch of good songs, while some other albums were great all thoughout.

Of course, a Day In the Life steps all over anything on Pet Sounds.

Pepper pales in comparison to other Beatles albums for me too... But even as perhaps my fourth or fifth (or maybe even sixth) favorite Beatles album, Pepper would still rank in my all-time top 20 in the history of rock...

I always thought that sgt. peppper's was kinda gay, like just alot of incidental mood-setting music. And plus, the album art, people? The Boys look like their on the set of 'The Monkees go to Laputa'. Sgt.'s cover just looks bummed out and dated, like an oxidized photo of a jewish wedding cake.

Let me guess...you were born in the mid 80s, right?

This seems like a simple answer to me. Even though my favorite musician, Paul McCartney, has said that you haven't heard music until you have heard "Pet Sounds". I'll have to go with Sgt. Pepper, there is no comparison the album cover, the depth to the songs, the hard work that went into it. Pure bliss
Listened to John Lennon with Old Dirt Road
