Maybe the idiot kids that try to do what he does will finally realize it isn't so safe.

Oh man, when I first heard how Mr Irwin died all I could say was "holy shit that's manly". Suiting way to go. I liked his show enough, kind of makes me sad that he's dead.

He was a very prominent environmentalist and conservationist, if not a bit overly daring. His work was very profound in spreading the importance of protecting biodiversity. Great guy, and highly entertaining.

Oh Lord! It looks as if Stingrays are declaring war on humanity!

http://www.smh.com.au/news/world/sti...851034108.html

An 81-year-old man is in critical condition after a bizarre attack by a stingray, which leapt out of the water into a boat and stung him in the chest.

Its poisonous stinger - nearly four centimetres long - lodged close to his heart in an incident similar to the one that killed Australian TV naturalist Steve Irwin last month.

I'd eat it...if I liked seafood...but I don't...so I wouldn't.

It was a shock to hear that Irwin had died that's for sure. I really liked his work...he was a pretty open and honest man who was extremely passionate about his work. It's a pity there aren't many more people out there like him.

Agreed. I have a feeling his young daughter Bindi will be just like him and be just as bold with the animals as Steve was. I know she's going to continue with a tv show on discovery kids that she was supposed to do with her dad. Very sad but I know she will be great.

As I said before, I felt bad for his family at the time. He on the other hand, didn't respect the animals or their space. You treat the animals the way he did, and eventually what happened will happen. I thought it was a joke that the Austrilian Govt. wanted to give him a State Funeral. At least his father apparently has some sense.

Now they’re going to milk it for all the can by using the daughter.
