I agree that he sucks, but... the production is anything but cheesy.

I prefer music created by people playing instruments - guitars, drums, stuff like that - not stuff created by a bunch of guys dicking around on a pentium 4 with a sweet audio program.

Agree, but still, I listen from time to time on things like Kraftwerk and similar bands, and they made their music digital (surely, Kraftwerk did not have pentium 4,,, more like ENIAC).
Maybe it feels more honest when the band is not pretending they are playing instruments...
About Justin T,,, I don´t know wether he is a great instrumentalist or not at all, and I don´t think he´s very good,, or,, good,,, sure, he sings a lot better than me, and I´m sure he can dance and so on, but I don´t think he´s music is more than slightly different to the rest of the mainstream in the same genre.

I'm so confused. I thought Justin Timberlake sucked. And part of me doesn't get what the big deal about his new song is. There's nothing noteworthy on it that I can recall.
But when it comes to false assertions, claiming to "bring sexy back" is pretty deep.

See It's all about this new fad where its cool to like mainstream music again. Same thing happened with Nelly Furtado when her cd came out. Some music publication *cough* PITCHFORK *cough* says its cool and then all the indy kids are all over that shit like batman. Same thing happened with Justins CD. That being said I always thought Cry Me a River was masterfully produced, and I think thats true for My Love and Sexy Back. I think its a notch up on the quality scale compared to alot of the stuff out there, not that im a big fan at all. I stay away from this stuff most of the time, but its still fun to dance to. I mean MJ is still great stuff right?
