You know it's weird, now it isn't showing up on mine either. What a website. Anyway, don't count on the habit changing, I'm still only going to put the name and title if it doesn't actually say them on the cover. I can't find a rules violation for it in my school handbook anyway.

Who said anything about a school violation? It's a violation of the Grasshoppa rules.

Whaaaaaaaat. But anyway, it would have to be for my school credits to be revoked. Unless that is if Satchmo being Satchmo were to pull some strings or whatever with my principal and explain to him why violations of the Grasshoppa rules should result in lost credits.

By the way, I just read that the cover I posted isn't actually the original. I figured it was because it looks more old school, I'd have to say I actually like it a lot more than this one:

I noticed the "Originals" series from Impulse. Are the masterings more recent?

Maybe I wasn't in the mood for it at the moment. I'll give a re-listen soon then.

One of several from those series of concerts in East and West Berlin at which Satchmo was in attendance.

Also, one of my favorite solo recordings by DA MAN!

I post this despite the fact that I can already hear the eyes rolling into the back of Satchmo's head...

Just finished:

MMW - It's a Jungle in Here

and now playing:

MMW - The Dropper
