satchmo smells him a bootleg and/or download. while i dont think it will ever happen....i would love to see him and crispell get back together with the other two of his classic forces in motion quartet.

i also would like to see crispell moving away from the ecm styled recordings of late.

Yes, bootleg/download would correct. I would very much enjoy seeing that quartet playing together again, myself, or even Braxton and Crispell together. Do they ever play together anymore?

More from the bootleg/download backlog:

Matthew Shipp - Live at the Bell Atlantic Jazz Festival at the Knitting Factory, New York, NY, June 8, 2000

1. satchmo's senses can sense these things, baby!

2. the last time she has played with braxton is the last time the forces in motion quartet performed.....11-12-1993. as in, you were 3 months away from turning 4-years old.

3. are you trying to put me to sleep this early in the day for satchmo?

Hmm... I listen to a lot of Coltrane, Gillespie, Davis, Zorn, Dave Douglas, Scofield, Ribot as well, I don't think I'm quite that pigeonholed.

i am down with them but they can go down under the berne, frisell, ecm and nyc downtown, and whatnot list.

you might listen to a great many jazz musicians and recordings you dont mention here, but satchmo only has what you mention here to respond to.
