Lover i dont have to love

ok i've been thinking about this song a long time and cant decide, does he want a lover that he can just talk to and he doesnt have to love (like fuck) because she's just so great in all other aspects, and he actually despises the girl in the song? Or is it that he wants a girl that he doesnt have to love (like emotional, romantic love) and he just wants a girl, like the girl in the song, who will just fuck and leave it at that?
