Yes that has crossed my mind, I paid attention because they forced it into me and my school was fucked up in the way that none of the teachers had the least hint of faith in the beliefs they endorsed.

So they probably taught wrong and the mind is limited to the information in reach.

So if I wasn't taught enough and never bothered to look, then it's not a crime to say what I think from what I know.

And the bible had been mistranslated a few times. So the simplest metaphor could've been distorted. Unless you can speak Ancient Greek and read the original new testiment you can't be completely sure.

Actually, I have read the Septuagint and for good measure the 4 of the 27 versions of the Vetus Latina and all 3 different versions of St. Jerome's Vulgate....and I am really the last person you want to talk to about translations and nevermind those invovling the Bible.

3. After you Google that up....you might want to look up Koine Greek, which is what it was written in.
