Instrumenting Worded Music?
I have some Music that needs the words ripping, meaning I want to convert them into the Instrumental versions. How do I do this, as in, what programs can I use?

Go to a music store and buy Finale, a program specifically for making music. If you have specific songs that you want to make instrumental, get a songbook with lyrics and tabs and everything. Use the book as a reference, and assign instruments to the lyrics, and background. Finale is not that hard of a program to work with, and I have made songs with lyrics into instrumental versions, and they came out pretty good! Hope this helps!

You mean taking the words out of an existant song? I'm not sure if there is any way to separate vocals and etc. from songs. There's good audio editing software out there, I use Sony Acid Pro 5.0, Cubase is good, so is Cakewalk Sonar. Very expensive ($400+) programs but there are ways around that, anyone that tells you to actually pay for one is either stupid as bricks, an asshole, or playing it safe.

The only way to take the vocals out of a existing piece of recorded music is to have the master tapes (so virtually no chance, unless you are the artist or someone working with the original recording, or a employee at the place that the masters exist and you steal them)... But, some songs are mixed in such a way that you can easily seperate different instrumentation and vocals in the way they were mixed to stereo... Just need headphones... But usually songs are not mixed so simply...
