The List Master

This kind of seems like it might be the work of Satchmo.

This guy doesn't know everything but he comes darn close.

These are the best lists I've ever seen. He's got great taste.

I know nothing about Jazz so I can't comment on that, but the rock list seems pretty pretentious to me. Nirvana is 29th (?!) on the list of the greatest bands of the ninetees and Bran Van 3000 is ABOVE Radiohead and Kyuss. Also The Beatles apparantly aren't one of the greatest bands of the sixties.

This guy probably has a genious IQ, but boy does he know it! His wikipedia entry was CLEARLY written by himself, too: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piero_Scaruffi

He reminds me of Garth Marenghi: http://www.garthmarenghi.com/me.htm

Well you can always nitpick someone's persoanl taste but those are inclusive lists of many genres and the guy has taste for sure. I feel like it's a great resource because if you don't know something he mentions you probably should.

That guy must be real bored to have just done all that on a whim. At least the writers of Rolling Stone are paid to make crappy lists.

That does reflect poorly on the man.

Hard to describe, they have a very unique sound. They have two bass guitars. They sound a little industrial and a little noise rock. They are not as abrasive as many industrial bands as I don't think they have any metal in them, they still have melody and hooks. Allmusic can probably give a good description http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll

White noise, ask questions later and release are all great albums.
