It's unbelievable how popular they've become. Damn Grey's Anatomy. I want to throw the radio every time I hear them. Serves me right for even listening to the radio.

Remind her that it's all really just commodity fetishism.

And I don't mean:

Then, geben Sie ihr einen Kuß.

You know that you're assuming a couple of things in this post?

You should definately tell her about Steven Mark. His music is really awesome! I'm sure she'd like it.

Emily Haines and The Soft Skeleton, Shiny Toy Guns, Tegan and Sara, Tilly and the Wall.... I think that it's around what you are looking for.

Edit: Actually I just noticed that except a bit of Shiny Toy Guns and Tilly and the Wall, they're all female singers and from what you listed of what she likes, they were all male singers.

Get "The Very Best of Emerson, Lake & Palmer". TELL HER TO LISTEN TO "From the Beginning", "C'est La Vie" and "Trilogy" FIRST (IN THAT ORDER). Or listen to it with her and play those songs I don't care.

If she's into all these love songs she will definitely like those songs.

And don't tell her its classic rock before she listens to it, if she gets really into it then you can tell her because she might get into other classic rock and you can introduce Led Zeppelin to her which will lead to more stuff.
