He...Who Drops Knowledge

The song is by Carlo Donida, Jerry Leiber, ankd Mogol Mike Stoller. Ben E. King is just one of a great many who recorded the song.

In response
Hi, thanks, i am indeed aware of the other contributing artists, however in order to keep things simple, i asked my friend here, ob8x8do, to place a post regarding Ben E. King.
It is evident that you know your music, especially that of this genre, and so i am willing to allow you to join my musical mission...
I wish to obtain an instrumental version of the "I (Who have nothing)" song.
Obtaining this has proved somewhat fruitless in recent days, as those with knowledge on such matters are limited, and so i am willing to enlist the help of any fellow musically aware Brothers who wish to forward my cause.
I have wondered to myself, is the powerful instrumental from this song an original? Or has it been lifted from another source, perhaps a classical piece?
I have endeavoured to find the answer, however as aforementioned, my labours have so far been fruitless, so please Brothers, join me on my quest, and lets unravel the mystery of THE INSTRUMENTAL TO BEN E. KING - I (WHO HAVE NOTHING) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Safe, D.

You were so close, but if I know Pops (and I happen to know Pops) you might as well move on.
