If I see you online then I'll send it you, I can't email it to you as my PC won't be able to upload it. Alternatively, try kazaa. That's where I got it from.

Wow, the lyrics were adlibed? That explains why they were different at glastonbury then.

Hey Psychedelic Syd, Richie Havens released an album in 1968 called Something Else Again. It has a more psychedelic feel than his other more folk inflected albums. The CD is out of print (or it was I guess it still is) but if you can find it on Ebay I think you might would like it. I especially like New City from it.

I've been trying recently to download some richie havens, but can't find ANY files, so it looks like I'll have to buy some CDs. It seems despite his popularity here he hasn't got a big following.

You could rent the Woodstock film if possible, Sammo. He`s the opening act there.
Got to turn up the volume a bit to hear the strong character of the music.

Good suggestion, Field Hippy - Mixed Bag from '67 is also a cool album (currently still available from Amazon).

Freedom is an awesome tune, and the live version (Woodstock) has always seemed to be one of those that epitomized the spirit of that festival. I've seen the movie several times, and have the 2 double Lps. Richie has a organic vivacity that's really engaging, and his style of psychedelic/folk rock, with his gruff voice and raw guitar playing, is something I'd definitely recommend anyone interested in the genre look into.
