What is your favorite full length album ever made?

What is your favorite full length album ever made?

I'd have to say my favorite album was Blink 182's last album, which some people say its untittled and some people say its self-named.
Just the way the whole album flows together is really great. Every chance I would get I would just go to my playlist on my mp3 player of the album and i just sit back and listen to that. Ive probably heard the whole album from begining to finish at least 30times.

I would say that is atrocious. Is there a reason you have posted this in the punk section of the forum? If you think blink have made the best punk album of all time you need to get out a bit more.

I shouldn't be too hard though you are obviously young if you have only listened to you favourite all time album only 30 times.

my comment about you being young was not meant to be an insult, it was more of me giving a reason as to why I shouldn't be too hard on you for listing blink as your favourite punk album. Here is a news flash for you Blink 182 are a really bad example of punk rock. I would even say they are not a punk rock band, but that is debatable.
The reason you like them so much is probably because their songs have been written to be catchy with a lot of hooks, non-challenging, non-confronting and relatively easy listening. They have also been marketed in a way that makes their whole image very appealing to teens.
Now you can like them all you want I am happy for you but if you post about them in the punk section of the forum you need to expect a bit of feedback be it good or bad. For me, I think they are not a punk rock band mainly because of the reasons I listed as to why they are so popular with young teenagers.

For the record I think my all time favourite punk album would be BAD BRAINS "Rock for light" I have no idea as to how many time I would have listened to it but it would be in the many hundreds. DK's "Plastic surgery disasters" could be another, or may be even POISON IDEA's "Feel the darkness"

i listen top music while doing homework, and thats how it works. and no, blink 182 isn't punk if you're going the label route, theyre pop-punk, which is an oxy-moron. the clash and the sex pistols tried to make sure of that, because no government ever liked them. following the label formula, black flag or even the aforementioned bad brains would be hardcore punk or ska hardcore punk, respectively.
so basically, if you think blink 182's album was the best ever right now, thats cool.
but check into the clash's sandinista-it was a triple album on vinyl. check out rancid before their last album. look into the distillers. hell, listen to rise against a few times.
but as for the roots, do listen to bad brains, black flag, the casualties, the descendents, generation x, the velvet underground, the ramones. list goes forever. listen to those, THEN see hwich is your favorite.
and lastly, as for pop punk, green day's nimrod. impossible to top in my opinion for those bands with popular videos and a recognizable name.

The best "punk" album ever in my humbly worthless opinion is Raw Power by Iggy & the Stooges. The best album ever though is one I'm not sure of the title by Bob Dylan that's got The Times They Are a Chagin' on it and I think that's what it's called. I don't know the name but know it's greatness because I've downloaded all the songs but I don't own it.
