you do make a good point there though, most of it is all the same, and your right on the money with Blink182, if it wasnt for travis, iwouldnt listen to their crap because tom and mark are just average guitar/bass players.
your right with NFG too, but hey we all like one of the pop bands?
somethign corporate, i like the piano player alot, im really into the punkish mix with the piano. although i agree that 95% of the punk songs have garbage lyrics and talk about teens doing stupid stuff or feeligns toward the opposite sex, you also gotta admit that although its rare, there are some very good songs in punk if you give the right band and the right song the chance.
But Yellowcard, thats where your wrong. They have made their share of love songs that could be considered dumb to most people past their 20's, but also you gotta take in mind that they have very good music. They also have some strong lyrics in alot of their songs. My two favorite songs from them are "Believe" from ocean avenue ablum, and "Gifts and Curses" from the spiderman 2 soundtrack. Listen to those two songs and tell me if they still are on the lines of NFG.

ha, i said 'at the moment' I listened to soundgarden so much for the past two years that I burned out on them. they will make a comeback in my mind, don't you worry
