Ok then.

Now, shall we get back onto the topic of music?

I know your whole "I only listen to music that sounds good to me" thing, but... Nelly - Air Force Ones???

Eek!

I recalled the name from your first controversial appearance on RM with a similar top 100 list: http://www.radiomute.com/22808-my-top-100-tunes.html

Have you not enjoyed much of the other music out there since we began recommending you music last year?

At least a lot of the videogame music has fallen below 75

You think even if I did forget anything, I could forget him?

I still say, I hope he learns to grow out of this kind of mindset if he wants to get anywhere in life.

I didn't really look at the forum much after I posted my list.

Like I said, I don't really care about music enough to go looking for it.

I came here mainly to see what other people thought about my tastes.

I still don't like Jazz, but I'm not going to insult other people's tastes anymore.

If that's what you like, that's fine with me.

Also, what's wrong with video game music?

Hey,I like a lot of video game music. I can certainly think of 75 songs I like better than anything off my favorite soundtrack (Alice), but there are probably a couple of full soundtracks in my top 300. Alice is top shelf, and I like Amon Tobin's latest work.

Hmm..there's an exercise, eh? "List your favorite 300 albums"

I looked him up. He did the music for Chaos Theory.

CT's music is pretty darn slick. Good choice.

I like just about anything from Perfect Dark or Halo 1 and 2.

Koji Kondo's stuff is great too.

yeah i'll triple the mention on amon tobin's soundtrack work for splinter cell: chaos theory. 'lighthouse' is just as good as anything else he's ever done.

it's too bad game music is going the same route as movie soundtrack with a bunch of leftover tracks mixed in with a few good singles you've heard way too often. from recognizable artists (GTA / tony hawk anyone?)

i've also heard the dudes in air have been interested in making a game soundtrack for a while now. i think they could put together something really good if what they did for the virgin suicides is any indication. i think they've basically been waiting on the right game to come along, i'm pretty sure they wanted to do an good adventures style game like the old gabriel knight series and grim fandango (speaking of great game music GF's soundtrack is fantastic)
