My impression is that you've only heard 75 songs in your lifetime. In total. You seem to have a mix of rock classics inappropriately mixed in with a lot of new pop rock tunes. I would suggest listening to more of the bands that no longer exist and go from there...

Bon Jovi - Its My Life

Wow. Wow dude. Just wow.

I've heard a lot more than 75 tunes total in my lifetime. These are just my very top favorites.

And why is mixing genres inappropriate? I don't care what genre it is, as long as the song hits the right note in my head.

I don't have any money to buy new music right now. If I did have money, I would only buy from bands that I'm very familiar with.

The only music that I listen to is whatever comes my way, usually by the radio or video games.

I don't really care about hearing new music. I'm satisfied with what I have now. If something good comes my way, so be it.

I'm never satisfied. I will not live long enough to hear all the great music out there now if people were to have stopped a decade ago. The hunger is never-ending and brings me to the strangest places and in situations that don't make sense to anyone. But to each his own, I guess. In some ways I envy you. Sometimes I feel that it would be nice to say "yeah, I have plenty."

After I'm done compiling my top 75, I'll never need to buy or download another song again.

Personally I can't understand how you can love music while at the same time not being curious about all the brilliant music you haven't heard yet ((ouch, was that a good sentence? English is hard.)). But that's just me, I guess.

so dude I don't mean to be harsh but what are you doing here? If you are not interested in expanding your musical taste why even post here? Looking at that list I don't think you have all that much knowledge to pass on, so what is the point? However if that bon jovi song is really in your top 75 I really do think you should consider exploring new music.
