ok, first off no it does not destroy your mind, im a huge fan of metal, basically because of raw aggresion, i've been listening to metal for almost half a decade and im still perfectly rational in my decisions, metal in no way destroys your mind, no matter how loud, obscene or obnocious you think it is, it in fact calms me down, so believe what you want, but metal doesnt destroy your brain

I will put it to you this way....I have been listening to Metal long before it was even called Metal which would make that close to 38-years....and the Neurons are as good as ever.
Almost ever genre of music and that would include Classical has been accused of being evil or bad for you at one time or another in history.
If it's not music....it's movies, tv, video games, and books.
In the end, it's just parents passing the buck as an excuse for the lousy job they're doing with their children.
This is just a variation on the last time this type of subject came up.

It almost all the time darkens minds, destroying is only a matter of opinion. Some people would consider Punks to have destroyed minds, I think they're mostly right because you only live once and who wants to follow some stupid rules and miss all the fun?
