Drm music came to my attention last year when I went to buy a cd and it had sony rootkey on it and I did not know that it had installed stuff on my pc and I was woundering if anyone else has had this done to them. I was also woundering what other people feel about the drm music on the net?

I do my best not to buy new CD's from Sony. I read somewhere about this bullshit before and the lawsuits that followed. They sell intentionally flawed product and wonder why there are people who just download MP3's and call it good.

iTunes puts the DRM on the tracks at the "request"/demand of the RIAA not because they want to put it on there.DRM music can not be copied any further, but I want another copy for backup, so could you tell me or give me an easy program to get rid of DRM protection.
