new Grandaddy album
have any of you guys heard the new Grandaddy album "Just like the Fambly Cat"?? i'm curious to see if anyone digs it. it sucks that most listener stations only let you have 30 seconds (or less) of track listings. i have a friend thats like obsessed with them and recommend that i get into their older stuff.

Can't go wrong with Grandaddy. Great band. I recommend Sophtware Slump, which is my favorite of theirs from back in 2000. Sumday from 2003 is pretty good too. I've only heard parts of Under The Western Freeway and haven't heard any of their self-produced or financed or whatever they call them, albums but I've heard good things.
Also really liked their EP Excerpts From the Diary of Todd Zilla.
Sad to hear they've broken up but I'm glad they left us with Just Like The Fambly Cat.

Currently listening to Just Like The Fambly Cat. Pretty good. Still think Sophtware Slump is better.

I'm rather sad that they broke up. The last one was good.

It really makes me sad... I heard that CD early last summer, and fell completely in love with it... only to discover they had already broken up. It's really sad. I did later buy Sumday and Sophtware Slump... I feel like I love Just Like the Fambly Cat the most, since I've just listened to it the most, and I heard it before any other Grandaddy stuff. But definitely favorite Grandaddy song of all= The Stray Dog and the Chocolate Shake. ^^
