So basically....you figured the quickest way you were going to get a date was become one with Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, et al?

'Girls are icky phase', yep. Looking back, I don't understand it, either. And listening Def Leppard (and alikes) just initiated a major attitude adjustment basically in all areas of my life. BTW Pyromania isn't that good IMO.
And as far as France and Belgium go, these countries need an iron hand. And I'm just the guy to do it.

The Music Industry
I have been at the doorstep of a record deal 3 times. I have played in bands where I was the only one who did not receive a royalty check from a previous record deal. Let me tell you, that is the perfect combination of feeling like you have made it and knowing that you have not quite yet made it. In fact one project that I was in our singer was still signed, from a previous band, to a major label. After a year and a half of hard work and writing, that band broke up because the guitar player started sleeping with the drummer’s wife! Even with the existence of “adultery among members, the drummer still wanted to try and make the project work because we were so close. Obviously it did not work out or you would be reading about this story in the tabloids. The year was 1993. The disappointment was tremendous!
The music industry has changed so much over the past few years. The story that I told you took place 15 years ago. At that time the only successful way that you could obtain a great career in music was to get signed. Now, this is far from the case. With the evolution of the internet, my current project can reach every crack, and crevice, of the world. The incredible thing is that I need no label to do it. So, I encourage everyone to get your music out there! Be heard!

the state of music
I think music morp's every generation. the likes and tastes of todays youth is gonna be different from tommorrows youth. I think music will always change . just like how we listen to music and get music has changed. music is basically free now. you can download any cd in the store for free now online. there are sites like wyplanet.com that just started that all there music is gonna be free. and sirfrog.com that is all free as well. the days of paying for music are pretty much over.

I think that people not paying for recorded music looks like a bad thing for the quality of music overall.
It's a bit of a shame for anyone who's considering a career as a musician, for starters. Concert tickets will still bring in some income, I suppose, but only after the venue owner, promoter etc. have taken their slice.
If nobody paid for recorded music, how would recording studios be funded? Who would want to be a sound engineer who knows that whatever he records can be stolen at any time?
