The Mob, "Fans", Young'uns, and Grasshoppas/Brothaman is how I group those on RM. There is no particular age for a Grasshoppa. They're as young as 15 and go into their 50's. I have actually considered promoting you from The Mob to Grasshoppa. You have come a long way since your "Fan" days.

You do show signs of becoming a Brothaman. But on that pebble.... just maybe, when I am six feet under.

You know, if you had questioned my suggesting it could one day be possible, I was going to say that it might happen when you're six feet under.

P.S. I know, I know....always a step (at least) ahead.

I don't think I've gone any which way since my "fan" days; we've just come to appreciate the fellowship of mastery.

And I like being the unassuming guy in the mob - as long as I get to have a cool nickname.

This thread is going all to hell.
Anyway, Satch, I still like being in the Mob, but where's my cool nickname? Something smooth but with bite, like The Delicious or Del Murder or The Bishop, something like that.

Those in the Mob are just the Mob. Outside of being called Mob or Grasshoppa there're no nicknames given to the members of those groups. Only "Fans" (hey, I just made a new one today! ) are given nicknames. Those promoted from Grasshoppa are called Brothaman. There is only one Brothaman, at this point.

Now there are exceptions to only "Fans" are given nicknames. There is Little Buddy. Who outside of Satchmo, no one really can be really sure WTF? is going on with him. There was also the former Undercover Agent who was promoted to Grasshoppa. There're still many Undercover Agents.

Also, when in his role of accompaniment to Satchmo's rendering of Give Peace a Chance....Grasshoppa panbient is Guitar Master panbient.
