I don't think you'll have much of a problem. I've left CD's in my car for over a year and they still work. They're not in direct sun but the car still gets hot. I've also left a CD in the sun in my car and while the black part of the case curled up and partly melted, the CD was still ok. I don't think it would have been if I did that a few times though.

CD's can survive in temperatures from -5(23) to 55(131)°C(°F). Accoding to Verbatim CD-R cover Even higher temps are ok IMO. The biggest problem is temperature variance. If hot CD (40°C) comes to 12°C it will probably be damaged because of different termal expandation of the plastic and metal parts.
