Best Combined Band
I think history has shown that when giants clash on the music front, its not always as good as expected. who is your best "super-band" .. now im not talking about obscure artists from bands that were never really well known.
something like:
- The Traveling Wilbury's
- Audioslave
- A Perfect Circle
just to name some of the well known ones.

Without going into the what I guess you would call obscure....
Crosby, Stills & Nash
Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young
Emerson, Lake & Palmer
Blind Faith
Captain Beyond
Bloodbath
Fantômas
Humble Pie
Temple of the Dog
Jeff Beck Group

Yeah I'd have to say either Travelling Wilburys or Temple Of The Dog beat the rest.

Samoan Joe's Barman: You want a pint, you go to the pub.
Bacon: I thought this was a pub!
Samoan Joes Barman: It's a Samoan pub.

The Highwaymen have their moments, but in a similar way as the Wilburys.

I'd say CSNY for me. Great harmonies, great music.
For more modern attempts I'd say A Perfect Circle is probably my favorite though I don't necessarily believe they'd be among the best.
