Okay. So what's the "88" at the end of your buddy's name supposed to mean. Was it the year he was born or does it represent something else?

yeah, were still there. Too many bigots on that site, so I like to piss them off, it's fun. They don't think twice before they dis us, I am just paying back the debt to them. And the 88 is for my birth year. Besides that I like that number.

Yeah, the people on MB are pretty funny. There're some smart posters on there, but they get into flame wars over practically nothing.
P.S. I'm just agreeing that the people over there are funny, not that they should be listening to ICP.

There are alot of morons on there and you can't say anything without them trying to come up with some reason why they think everyone is stupid. And why does anyone not like ICP, they are better than the damn beatles. Sorry, Someone on the MB thought that just because they love the Beatles, they are the greatest group even in the world of rap. He's pretty weird too. I like to start convos with him and get him to start fighting with everyone there. I won't do my evil work anywhere else unless I get disrespect.LOL

I don't think you'll find many people who will agree with you on this. You may like ICP but they definitely haven't had the impact on music or even in their own genre (whatever that is) that the Beatles have.
And as for 88, it's a notorious hate symbol. The eighth letter of the alphabet is "H". So HH = Heil Hitler. All white power groups are familiar with this. But I'm sure that you already knew that.

ICP is a pretty good band. They have a colorful sound, funny lyrics and put forth an entertaining persona. The only problem is in regards to the fans is that they tend to be a very predictable cliche. Every hard-ass-wannabe white boy in the United States swears allegiance to this band and mimics all their lingo about 'bigots' and 'juggalos' and so on but not with an iota of originality. If you understood ICP's place in rock'n'roll and stopped heralding them as some of Gods, which they certainly aren't, it wouldn't be so inviting to piss on your parade.
I think Satchmo made a great point when he called ICP 'The Britney Spears of Rap'. I can't speak for him, but why that makes sense to me is not because ICP sucks so deeply as Britney Spears but because ICP is an equally predictable choice of idol worship for a certain subset of today's youth. Why be a 'juggalo' when you can be your own man? Same goes with being a Dead Head or a member of The Kiss Army (except that really is cool).
Peace

I get where your coming from, but we don't act like "they" are Gods. The only point to any ICP albums is to get all of the people that dont go to or would never set foot in a church to find God in a differnt way that they can understand and will listen to. How can you possibly not respect that, all they are pointing out is that God is out there. Seriously, who better to preach to people who grew up with a hard life than other people that grew up with a hard life? They get a profit and they also talk a lot about killing. But that is how they draw people in. I don't think there is one Juggalo out there that didn't get into them from a murder song like "Murder Go-Round". But after you get to listen to more of there music, you get to see their "deep" songs. In those songs you hear that they are talking about God, and that they are not bad people, they just use subliminal messages.
I was like that, the first ICP song that I heard was "Piggy-Pie". I liked it because of the killing. After I heard more of their music, I started to like songs like "Pass Me By". In songs like that you can tell that they are talking about God and "Shangria-La". IF you can't see something good in that, then you must just have a completely closed mind. I think if you would all actually listen to their music that you would see that they are not "the Britany Spears of rap", but their music is something much deeper than that!!
