Why wouldn't I admit there are probably albums I haven't heard? I don't believe, I have ever claimed to know everything. The last the Dr.'s checked, I was still human....meaning even I have my limitations. 
However, overall it is of now real use to me. P.S. The data on Allmusic isn't to be trusted, either. It's filled with mistakes.

I know that their data isn't always correct, but I don't think there's any real database focused on music, so I'm happy enough with those two.

Yeah, there free and updated with new recordings; so there a good resource for you.

1. Yeah, I have my own two databases....the main one is between my ears. There is the other one, just in case my main one misfires. It happens on occasion. I am 103 now, after all.
2. Now....I know you saw my 2005 list. So....you know better to even attempt to imply that I don't listen to anything new. Even if I didn't have people sending me stuff....there is the horde.
Hell there is even the odd miracle one of you might drop something new onto me. Grasshoppa Seba and Brothaman have been the only ones so far....but there is always tomorrow.

you have no idea how many classic albums i have discovered! i often come across albums and artists whom i've never heard of, and after a few quick background checks, i am reminded how infinitely ignorant i am to music.
it's wonderful.
