I'm listening to a lot of Mingus these days, but I have still to find another album of his that knocks Mingus Ah Um off the throne. But, I haven't listened to The Black Saint and the Sinner Lady yet..

Mingus Plays Piano is also quite intriguing, as the blurb on the cover says, ".. like hearing Mingus thinking out loud"

Definitely listen to Black Saint and the Sinner Lady. I like it more than Ah Um, in fact, it's my favorite Mingus album.
