True. I liked the Black Album though, but I actually wasn't that much into them, it was particularly Nirvana and K's Choice (kinda boring Belgian radiofriendly chickrock). And that was only at the end of the nineties.

I could definately sit here and name some of the most unique and offbeat bands of the 90's, but if I was to choose one band that represented the whole 90's vibe, it would have to be Stone Temple Pilots.

I fell like listing more than one. In this order:
1. Sublime
2. R.E.M.
3. Red Hot Chilli Peppers
4. Alice in Chains
5. Greenday

#3 and #5 are the best bands there but they didn't get that way till By the Way and American Idiot which were in this decade.
#2-4 were a close call and #2 and #3 were really a tie but I thought a tie would be lame. Californication was the best album of the 90s but R.E.M had the next two best except Nevermind. I don't remeber the name of those albums and I'm too lazy to look them up. Nirvana would be right after Greenday.

the accent of icelandic words falls in almost all cases on the first syllable. the exceptions are

1.words that have the negative prefix "ó-" meaning "un-" as in "unwilling" eg óhreinindi
2.words that have the prefix "all-" meaning "rather" or "very" eg allfeginn

in these two cases, the accent falls equally on the first two syllables or mainly on the second syllable.
