Yaeh, that was abrupt I know, it's just I wonder if people really like him or just pretend to like him, I guess they really like him, I like In The Heart of a Saturday Night though. Do you know that song?

^ I feel the same about Nick Cave. So many people seem to like him, but I've never heard anything I've really liked. But I LOVE 80's synth bands though. Try some Alphaville ~ featured in napoleon dynamite
!!

Let me just say that in my book there is none higher than Tom Waits. If you don't like him that’s fine cause he's not for everyone. But to call him a phony shows your ignorance about the man. If you would like to learn RadioMute is the best place, just ask.

Tom Waits is a master of storytelling in a world that has lost the art.

The sounds they use are just to cheesy for my taste. When I think of a synth band I think of The Moog Cookbook. The early synths just have more character to me.

Hmmmm...I may be one of those who pretend to like Nick Cave. The Birthday Party... but do I really? I think I know where you're coming from

Tom Waits is an underground genius.
