We have in Romania a commercial for the Dorna mineral water. It uses Sonique-I'm alive. I am not that in love with the song, but the images together with the chorus do go well together, so it's a good choice

A few years ago, Nike did a great ad with a guy on rollarblades skating around aggressively/obnoxiously. At the end of the commericial, he get body checked into a window (by a guy in a Toronto Maple Leafs shirt!). They uses "One Bad Apple" by The Osmonds. A kind of cheesy song, but it worked so well in the ad.
