Haven't heard it yet, but I'm afraid I'm not very interested, I liked When It's All over, We Still Have to Clear up, but the newer songs I heard sounded rather lifeless.

At first I wasn't a big fan of the new disc, especially after Final Straw which blew me away and I even bought the live DVD for. This second run-through of the disc though has broken through my thick skin and I'm really enjoying it. It's not as beautiful and heartbreaking as Final Straw, but it's definitley a piece to cherish.
I might change my mind about you yet, Mimi.

Good, good.

Well same with me actually. When I first heard it, I didn't like it as much (maybe I expected too much because I love Final Straw).
Then I gave it another try after a few days and I find myself liking it now.

It was pretty funny, my girlfriend heard a song on the radio that talked about putting Sufjan Stevens on listening to your favorite song etc. And she was like it was so crazy. She called it a pop song cause that's what it sounded like to her, and then I listened to the disc and I was like hooooly shit it's not pop rock it's Snow Patrol! I had to tell her.
What's your favorite track on the CD? I don't have a favorite yet though, I've heard it only three times and I don't even know the track listing completely yet. I'm sure that soon I will.

One thing I noticed was lacking in the new disc was all the cool little noises that were in the background of all the songs. Like in Tiny Little Fractures with that beep noise that randomly kicks in.

I'm really liking You Could Be Happy but it may not be something you will like. Hands Open is good too. I'm still looking for that song that's gonna blow me away like "Run" or "An Olive Grove Facing the Sea". So far, I haven't found it.

Actually I like You Could Be Happy the best I'm thinking.
This album isn't nearly up to par with Final Straw, but You Could Be Happy might be it's Run.

Nice.

You're All I Have is also good but just a little bit overplayed now.

Good for you.

But how do you know of new releases if you don't listen to radios?
