hmmm i don't like ripping bands cause it's not very constructive but I liked there early stuff but this album is just bland , boring and completely uninspired i feel violated and it makes me want to burn something!

I know how you feel, because I felt similarly when I first listened to the album. So I went back to Final Straw and listened to it and then I listened to Eyes Open again. It is missing a lot of the really cool background noises etc. but I firmly believe it contains a lot of the same passion that Final Straw had. Give it a few more listens and if you still don't like it I will concede.

Gotta agree, Final Straw is a better album. Like this band a lot, though and their latest is all right.

I really loved Final Straw for some reason (it's not the kind of music i typically listen to) so I suppose I'll have to check out what else Snow Patrol has recorded. I'm not sure about the chronology of things, but besides Final Straw, what album do you guys think represents their career the most?

Well I've only heard the Final Straw and I really didn't think it was too much of anything. Should I check this one out?

In the end, what we have are these little, great moments. They come and they go. That's as good as it gets. But, still, isn't that great?
