Musical FAQ

I was looking through some of the profiles of the writers from All Music Guide and a good number of them have these musical FAQ listed. I figured what the hell, let's see what everyone here has to say.

First Record Bought: It was either Red Hot Chili Peppers - One Hot Minute or Dave Matthews Band - Crash
First Concert: Red Hot Chili Peppers
Favorite Music Movie: The Last Waltz
Favorite Music Book: Shakey: Neil Young's Biography
Favorite Songwriter: Nick Cave
Favorite Producer: David Bowie, but I'll admit, I don't usually pay much mind to who is producing what. Bowie is just cool for the work he's done with The Stooges, Lou Reed, and Mott the Hoople.
Favorite Record Labels: Fat Possum, Kill Rock Stars, Sub Pop
Favorite Music Writer: I don't know anyone that just writes and doesn't perform, so pass.
Favorite Magazine: Pass here too. I don't read any specific music magazines.
Favorite Guitarist: Robbie Robertson
Favorite Bassist: Flea, more for personality than anything else.
Favorite Album Cover: Tom Waits - Rain Dogs
Favorite Teen Idol: Donny Osmond, because I've met him and he's a nice guy.
Artist Who Broke Your Heart: Elliott Smith
Artist You Will Always Believe In: Neil Young
Singer Who Makes Your Skin Crawl: Mariah Carey
Singers Who Makes You Swoon: PJ Harvey
Album You Own That No One Else Does: Monks - Black Monk Time
Classic Album You Own But Don't Like: Pet Sounds
Band You're Supposed to Like But Don't: The Doors, Bob Marley and the Wailers
Band That Should Break Up: Red Hot Chili Peppers
Band That Should Re-form: In general, I think bands that break up do so for good reason, but I guess it would be cool if the remaining members of The Band got together again -- especially if they could get Bob Dylan involved.
Guilty Pleasure: Cheesey 60's pop. The Mamas and the Papas, The Turtles, et al.
Concert You Wish You'd Seen: When Dylan first went electric. I assume this question isn't limited to concerts you were alive for.

To make it easy, here's the blank list:

Not being capable of passion, I welcome all persuasions, be they tin, iron, or steel.

Yay. Can Roivas play?

I really don't have a "favorite" anything. So this one is hard for me.

-----------

First Record Bought: Dude, I'm almost thirty. I can't remember what CDs I bought last week. Iron Maiden and Spike Jones were the first two bands I ever liked as a fetus, so probably one of theirs...Number of the Beast or something. My Dad had tons of stuff, so I didn't need to buy any.

First Concert: I think it was the Beach Boys when I was a year old. I can't remember all the concerts I've been to.

Singers Who Make Your Skin Crawl: Serj Tankian (pass the stone already). James Blunt. Patrick Stump (the most annoying, IMO). Morrisey.

Singers Who Makes You Swoon: Elisabeth Schwarzkopf (I don't know, she can be annoying like any opera singer).

Album You Own That No One Else Does: Arthur Brown / The unedited Chisolm in my Bosom on vinyl (Arthur Brown)

Band You're Supposed to Like But Don't: Steely Dan, Genesis

Band That Should Break Up: Metallica
