The way i see it 4 idiots have voted in this forum.... 3 votes for SP - Mellon Collie and the infinite sadness....1 vote for GNR - Apeetite for Destruction..... for the retard im talking about 1 plus 3 = 4..... just like Mellon Collie + Appetite for Destruction = 2 of the greatest albums of all time.....
O yea my vote went to Radiohead - Ok Computer..... i was expecting good electronic masterpiece...... i got a handful of crap and 12 songs of ear torturing misery.... id rather listen to Appetite for Destruction and Mellon Collie and the Infinate Sadnees for all eternity than ever hear 1 song fron OK Computer again....

I didn't vote for G'n'R or SP but to say that that people who did are idiot's is a pretty stupid call. People are entitled to their own opinions about who they like and dislike and I personally would say OK Computer is one of the best albums I have heard but that doesn't make you an idiot does it?

the American ppl can barely get into the european intelligent music,
this is indeed why Crash_override prefers SP & G'nR instead RH,
dont get me wrong but this is the style of perception of music..

the accent of icelandic words falls in almost all cases on the first syllable. the exceptions are
1.words that have the negative prefix "ó-" meaning "un-" as in "unwilling" eg óhreinindi
2.words that have the prefix "all-" meaning "rather" or "very" eg allfeginn
in these two cases, the accent falls equally on the first two syllables or mainly on the second syllable.

The first time I heard OK Computer I thought of it as a landmark in rock. The Beatles even sprung to my mind while listening to it.
SP had great hits, but that album is unbearable, Cash_override. Hence, it didn`t live up to my expectations at all.
The disagreements just makes it more interesting, let`s not get personal, ok?

Wow, I'm really out of step with this crowd, I guess. I would never vote for anything by U2 or for anything by the Police as an overrated album. And to me, ANYTHING by Guns 'n' Roses is grossly overrated.
Sometimes I think this bunch simply thinks that if it sells multi-platinum, it sucks. To me great music is great music, and lousy music is lousy music, whether it sells millions or it goes out of print in 6 months. There are cases when the best music actually sells well. Of course that is not often the case, but just because an album is successful doesn't make it a bad album (or a good one).

The Holy Bible overrated?
It's definitely one of my favourite records! Such a delicious dark sphere, excellent songwriting, singing, guitar playing! It's true that not all the other Manics albums are consistent, but this one surely is!
Ok Computer is wonderful and popular, and yeah these sort of albums get sometimes a bit overrated, the same with Nevermind... and In Utero
Moon Safari isn't super on a whole, but Sexy Boy and a few others are so good that they make up for the rest!

I voted for Appetite For Destruction, listened to my brothers copy and I couldn't only conclude that I didn't really like it, it's not really bad either, but it's not my thing at all...
but Moby's Play could have gotten my vote as well...

Play is very overrated, but you have to respect the money it brought in, no matter the commerciality of it...
