The song was recorded by Wes in March of 1966.
It and the alterante track of the song, can be found on his recording Tequila. It was resissued in 1999. It's the only recording he recorded without a piano player.
You can hear the original version, which is just known as Bumpin' and recorded in 1965 on the recording of the same name. That was reissued in 1997.
If you're interested in Wes' best recording, that would be Smokin' At The Half Note. It was just reissued in 2005.
All are Verve releases.
