yeah they were on MTV not long after the 'epic' video with the health fish swimming in a tank (at least they claimed it was the fish from the video ). speaking of which i'm totally having fish for lunch today mmmMMMMMmmmmm hehehehe

as for the peeping tom thing i'm quite curious about it especially the amon tobin track. the comments about a noticable pop feel are kind of concerning to me though...

FNM performed "Epic" live at the MTV awards show and Patton flopped about like a fish at the end, saying simply "Bye" when they were done

I think ever since FNM's demise, Patton has needed to fill some sort of mainstream urge. That's not to say that I think FNM was a typical mainstream act. But that need seems to have manifested itself in many of his later projects, including the last Mr Bungle album. I guess in a way, if it is indeed somewhat poppish, I don't know that I'd be too surprised or disappointed.
