sampling

this may be an extremely annoying post to lot of people, i dunno, i'm a novice!

But I was just wondering about sampling- is it an easily accesible thing, easy to get away with?

I love the idea of taking that aspect of hip hop and putting into another type of music...

not that i'm planning on being famous {heavens no} but it might be fun. I hear abba are a bit stingey.
Listened to last one i heard: nu brazel 20 with Seu Jorge drum n bass thing
"one of those rare occasions where i actually can enjoy drum"

I'm no expert, but I would have to guess that any music that you publish that has a sample of another artist's work, needs to be approved by that artist (often times by cash payments).
