I Need To Find Something Free...

...that will allow me to increase or decrease the tempo (or pitch)of an mp3 accurately, that isnt an Acid Pro demo, or the DJ DSS (Sp?) thingy that Josh uses. I need to be able to put the mp3's on a mix so I need to be able to export the song once its been edited via whatever software I use. Does anyone know of some really simple music editing software that I could download for free off of the internet that can do this? Im really wanting to screw some Sage Francis beats....

i would render the file and use Sound Forge to highlite and manipulate the areas you'd like to shift. i would dl Slsk (Soulseek) and search for a cracked copy. yes, it's illegal and i should be shot for dl'ing programs and music, but that's the fun of it.

Audacity is very free and simple, and has a feature like that, although I have no idea how accurate it is.

Have you heard of Goldwave? It's really simple to use but can help in increasing and decreasing tempo, if that's all you need to do. Search for it on download.com. It's the demo version but there isn't a "___-days-left" counter
Listened to T.I. with What You Know

I know Goldwave. It's a very decent sound editor. I used it a lot a few years ago.
