Alright, I always wondered what to styles of music consist of and thought this would be ther perfect place to ask theses questions.
First- Salsa music. Or driving Latin songs. We played a few in Marching band (el tigre and Flight of the condor, for anyone who is fimiliar with this kind of music). The music is just so freekin' intense and gets me goin everytime. I go home and try to play along with some latin stuff or try to write my own, and I just dont get it. I was wondering what scales or chords are used in this type of music, and maybe some progressions.
Second- Surf rock, or Rockabilly. I know surf music is Just rockabilly stuff, except more rhythmic. What scales chords progressions consist of surf/ rockabilly music.
Thanks
Dave
