he was a man dedicated to those he worked with. i really didn't know him too well, but he was such a nice influence on me. i realized that not all of the music industry's labels are out there for themselves, but to really try and help the artists and the MUSIC. Jay was cool enough to send me literature and even a really hip Vendor Refill LP casing with a copy of the artist's EP on Coredump.

i wish i got to know him better, but i thank Jay for his dedication, great taste and service to us listeners and artists alike.
