It's a great store.

No need to apologize, all is well. I'm sure I'll be able to find it at some point. Satchmo, I'll have to check that Berigan's place out, too.

That's weird, I googled it, and several sites say that a store with the same name and almost exact same description is located on Telegraph, instead of on Claremont. The same site says that Berigan's is at the Claremont address, which your site said Groove Yard is at.

I haven't been to any of them in a bit, but both Berigan and DBA Brown were on Claremont Ave, and 5555 Claremont Ave is/was Berigan's address.

ah I was at DBA Brown when he was closing his store.

I generally avoid stores of all kinds. The exception being record stores, and even then, it is limited to only a handful, which are spread out on the Third Rock on the Sun. Even limiting it to those, Satchmo still finds ways to find himself in the middle of what he likes to call The Further Adventures of Satchmo.

One minute Satchmo is breaking his back looking under the stack the next minute chaos is breaking out over Jandek being compared to Robert Johnson, for example. I really should finish that bedtime story, one of these days.

That doesn't even involve Satchmo and gravity not being one, for a few seconds last month.
