How do I set up Reason and my MIDI Controller so that my MIDI controller can be used with ReDrum? I know how to use it with synths and samplers, but I can't get it to affect the sounds in redrum.

Also, how do I write the notes played on my controller onto the track?

Edit: I found out why the program wasn't producing sound when I set the midi controller to use in redrum.

I still don't see how to write the notes onto the track, or automation though.

I haven't used reason much at all, but I think to 'write' MIDI data you have to be 'recording' it in real time. Is there something like a MIDI channel that you can arm (like an audio track)?

Nope, I figured it out. I had to click on the icons next to the device I wanted to write for next to the automation and click the record button. Everything is under control. MIDI control! Get it?
