The first round was a bit of a weeding out process. Since 128 isnt a square root number that we require, we are going to use the same 8 groups A-H... only this time we pick the top 4. This will move along 32 qualifiers into the 3rd round.

* NOTE:
There were a ton of ties. I originally tried to make up for this by balancing out a few artists into other groups, however, this ended up not being the best solution. Unfortunately, the best solution is to include ALL ties. Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five found a comfortable spot in the last group since there was a 2-point gap between the winners and two potential ties at 2 points.
